Faaah Sound is a soundboard and voice-recording app. No account is required.
Recordings stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to share one. Sharing uploads the recording, its selected image, caption, animation recipe, title, creator name, selected effects, and play count to our service so anyone with the link can play it. A shared recording may appear in the global collection after reaching the displayed play threshold.
Submitting a meme publishes it in the weekly challenge. Votes are limited per installation, not per verified person. Entries and vote totals remain available after the challenge ends. Reports and creator deletion also remove entries from challenge displays.
For operation, abuse prevention, play deduplication, reporting, and upload limits, our service processes pseudonymous installation identifiers, IP-derived hashes, timestamps, app interactions, and basic technical diagnostics. Raw identifiers are not published.
The app may use Google AdMob and the platform app store. These providers may process device identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and purchase information under their own policies. We do not receive full payment-card details.
You can delete local recordings in the app. If a recording was shared, deletion by its creator also disables its public link. Recipients can report and locally hide shared recordings. You can request help or deletion at faaahsound@proton.me.
Faaah Sound is not directed to children under 13.
